Glad Rags

I am helping organise a clothes swapping day to help
raise money for the Cafe I mentioned in my last post.
Its in 3 weeks so I am hoping the clothes will start
piling in soon!! Its such a great way to get new clothes
cheaply! And of course its a good way to recycle!

Exciting times ahead

This week is about to get super busy in the best possible way.
Its my boyfriends Birthday on Thursday and at night we are
going to Stereo for what I know will be an amazing gig. The
night is to raise money for The glad Cafe which is a south
side music and arts venue opening in 2011. Dam mantle, Conquering
Animal sound, Barn Owl and Song of Return are playing. Our
friends/family from France are also arriving that night and
a couple are staying with us so that's going to be lovely too!

Then on Friday its my good friends Wedding Party. Its at the Fruit
Market so its going to be huge! We are singing in a band doing a
bunch of crazy pop tunes which has turned to be hard work but such
such fun.

There is even more fun planned for the days after but I should
stop babbling. This song by Girls is one of my favourites and
it makes me really happy just now.

Wilco

My friend Joe works in a drum shop and last week the
drummer from Wilco came in and they got chatting. In
the end He gave Joe 4 guest list places and because
I missed them in Barcelona he took me. We went for
some drinks at the West Bar then strolled through the
Barra's, where I saw some pretty cool signs. It was
deserted so it kind of felt like we were on a movie set.
Wilco were amazing. We loved it.

Louis Vuitton

I absolutely love this campaign. That is definitely a little bit because its very Mad Men. The shapes of the dresses and the elegance of the women remind me so much of the show. I wish we could dress like this more often.

Conquering Animal Sound

Went to see Conquering Animal Sound a couple weeks ago. They were amazing.
