Deep Groan

Last night I went to a night called Deep Groan. It was excellent. The music was very good.
My friends Rickie and Jamie are Cru Servers. They were, as always superb. Blondes played after
them and were amazing. I danced and had a very good time. The visuals for the night were
really great, I wish I had made a video now actually. My friend Mairi did them and they were
totally appropriate and very enjoyable.

BLONDES

I just found out this duo are playing tonight at a thing I was going to anyway. What a nice extra surprise.
I am going to dance a lot.

Wren

I have just discovered this new label called Wren. It was founded in 2007 by Melissa
Coker. I love discovering new labels that I LOVE. Although I couldnt afford any of it at
the moment I just like to know its there, it inspires me and makes me excited about
clothes. I love the cuts of the dresses and the fabrics. I also think the look book is
styled very well, helping everything look extremely accessible.

Grain & Gram

I discovered this amazing site a few months ago on one of my internet journeys one eveing. Every now and then
while trailing through endless blogs and sites you find a real special one and this is one of them. It is a
gentleman's journal that focuses on men that make things with their hands for a living.

The people at Grain and Gram make a point of saying that they aren't going to post new stuff all the time because
when they do, they want it to be well written, well shot and interesting. I am more than happy to wait a little longer
for something really special. The design of the website, the photographs and the videos are all beautiful.

Gold Panda

After a photo shoot and then a seriously hardcore massage I am now sunbathing in my living room listening to this.
I have massive windows and the sun shines in all day long. AMAZING.

I really like Chloe Sevigny's style and this shoot represents it very well.
The stylist is called Joe McKenna and the Photographer is David Sims.

Noir Ohio

Noir Ohio is probably my favourite eBay shop. I am not sure on the new model but I
LOVE the clothes this week. I have bought a dress from them before so I know they
are reliable and the postage from America is pretty reasonable too. If I had the
money, here is what I would buy this week.

ATLAS SOUND

Alexa Chung....again

There are pretty much no pictures of Alexa Chung that I wouldn't post so I need to be picky in order not to bore.
I am posting these ones because she looks REALLY awesome. I am a huge fan of a leather jacket. I like the contrast
between black, heavy masculine leather with a really feminine, floral skirt of dress. This skirt is so summery and
is the most lovely shape. I also love that she isn't wearing heels, the outfit would be far less appealing with heels.
The understated flats allow all attention to be focused on the gorgeous skirt.

Lara Stone for Vogue Turkey

I will never tire of looking at pictures of Lara Stone. I think she is one of the most beautiful
women in the world. I love these latest shots taken by Cuneyt Akeroglu for Turkish Vogue. She looks
so different in each picture and that is why I love her so much, she is incredibly versatile.

SPRING

Spring has officially sprung. It is actually warm today. I just went out on my bike without a jacket
or a hat or gloves! The park was full and there are no clouds in the sky. I feel happy today. On a day
like this I do question why I live in a place where, when it gets sunny and warm its such a shock I blog
about it.

All That Is Solid

I was disappointed to find out that the GMBH publication shop in The Lighthouse had closed.
I used to look forward to treating myself to a new, slightly more obscure magazine every now and then.
Especially Self Service.

I have since found out that GMBH now have a small section in the new All That Is Solid space on Osborne
Street. All That is Solid is the name of the collective that will manage the South Block, which is run by
Wasps Studios. South Block is an amazing new 50,000 sq.ft. studio complex in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant
City. Designed by award-winning architects, NORD, South Block provides 96 studios for Glasgow’s creative community.

The space is really special and very different from anything else in Glasgow. The shop has a cafe in it and a
collection of books, objects, furniture and artworks for sale.

Nasta Tag

One night in Stockholm, we ended up going to a new subway stop to get home. Stumbling across this sort of crazy,
cave like place while a little drunk was one of the most entertaining things ever. We spent about an hour
just exploring and laughing at the bizarre psychedelic art. We were the only people down there and it was kind of
like a dream. It was so vast and completely random and weird. I would strongly recommend going for a look.

COLOURS

I got some early birthday treats tonight. These are from my lovely friend who is equally as into her aesthetics as me.
I love all the colours and everything made me smile. I am looking forward to attempting to rock neon.
