MARY KATRANTZOU // LONDON FASHION WEEK

I would have loved to have been at the Mary Katrantzou show
at London Fashion Week. Her latest collection was inspired
by stamps and banknotes. I think the cuts of these pieces
are incredible and the splashes of bright neon colours add
a perfect touch.

AUTUMN WISHLIST

Over the last few days it has started to feel like Autumn is
coming our way. Today it was sunny, bright and crisply cold.
I was rather excited to put on my woolen coat. I find it much
easier and more fun to dress for the cold weather. I suppose it
is just what I am used to. I like having more clothes on and trying
to make an outfit look good with multiple layers. I hope it is cold
again tomorrow. Here is my mini autumnal wardrobe wishlist.

MARC JACOBS SS//13

I really wish I could've been at the 60's inspired
Marc Jacobs show. I love the range and the show
itself sounds very impressive.

ELLE says
The stage set was a row of mirrored doors, which
opened one by one to let models walk out. And when they
did, they were all wearing the same thing: stripes.
Well, they almost all were. But the overwhelming
impression from this collection was of '60s-inspired
monochrome geometry and a boldly focused vision
It was over in just five minutes. But those five
minutes were filled with the kind of clothes that
remain in your head for a very long time

GLAMOUR SPAIN SEPTEMBER 2012

This is a shoot for Spanish Glamour magazine. The model is
Romy Schonberger, this is the first time I have come across
her but I am now hooked. She has defined cheek bones, prominent
eyebrows and very intense eyes. The photographer, Paul Bellaart
has captured a very laid back and understated set of images.

NADIA SCULLION

While I was in London a few months ago, I did a photo shoot
with a photographer called James A. Grant. I was wearing a
pre-collection piece of Nadia Scullions. It explored the
use of non fashion materials being used in fashion. The idea
will be developed further in the collection Nadia is currently
putting together.

I had an amazing day doing this shoot. We all worked well together
and the studio was amazing. The clothes themselves were comfortable
and incredibly feminine. The colours were bold and strong which
helped accentuate the structured pieces.
