My friend recently told me about Kinfolk magazine. She was given one at Christmas so I had a
look. It is one of the most beautiful magazines I have ever read. It is actually more like a
book than a magazine. The print quality is of a very high standard and it is printed on beautiful
paper. I plan to buy one next week in this amazing magazine shop in Stockholm.

CHLOE AUTUMN//WINTER 2013

I absolutely love this collection. The muted pastel colour palette is so
pleasing on the eye and the fabrics all look so warm and cosy.

The oversize coats are cut in such a way, that although they look quite
masculine, they hang in an incredibly flattering, feminine way.

This is by far my favourite Autumn/Winter collection so far.

ARVID WRETMAN // SUPERMARKET ART FAIR // STOCKHOLM

Next week I am going to Stockholm with Superclub Gallery. They have a space at
the Supermarket Art Fair again. The Art Fair was initiated and organised by artists
in 2007 and has very quickly grown and gained a great reputation.

This year Superclub are exhibiting work from a Swedish artist called Arvid Wretman.
Arvid manages to create a rather magical world in each of his drawings. Every one,
very different from the next. I am very much looking forward to seeing what he has
created for this show.

Stockholm is an incredible city and I am looking forward to exploring it more.

Today I went to the David Dale Gallery in Glasgow. The show was 'Easy does it' and
the first in an evolving trilogy of exhibitions curated by Kevin Hunt examining
the complexity inherent within the simplest of actions.

I really liked the show, and in particular the work from London based artist
Fiona Curran. It really stood out and made me want to see more. Her work is
so conspicuous, not only because of the flashes of neon and acrylic but also
her considered composition. Everything is placed with such care and thought.
