Damien Hirst has teamed up with The Olsen Twins to create this
rather weird yet wonderful rucksack.

I am not one for buying jewellery, of course I appreciate it
but it really needs to stand out for me to actually buy it.
Here are some pieces that do just that.

The completely black one is made by Academy Jewellery. A
Richmond based company founded by designer Rachel Albright.

The other necklace is also from a Richmond based designer
called Maslo. Both are being sold on Need Supply.

WINTER INSPIRATION

Well, in the last week it has turned really cold here!
It is so beautiful and I am loving wrapping up. I like to look
at street style images from cities where people really know
how to look good while keeping nice and toasty.

I often find that when it is cold here people dress in darker
colours. It might not be deliberate but it is so true! I love
that in a lot of other cities that experience our temperatures
people make a conscious effort to wear bright colours. It is
very pleasing on the eye.

Stumbling across things like this is so wonderful.
Falconwright is a line of screen printed leather goods handmade in
small batches by Sandi Falconer & Danielle Wright. I found them
through reading another blog. As soon as I saw the patterned
leather I knew I was going to love the collection. I am going
to have to treat myself at some point.

I absolutely love this photoshoot. It is so simple yet incredibly
effective. It was done to advertise an event at Yo Vintage,which
is a vintage shop is Portland. The installation and styling are by
Made on the Moon. The artwork is by Nick Hans.

Matthew Swan is a friend of mine. He is an incredible artist with
a wonderful imagination that allows him to create rather enchanting
scenes. Last weekend he had a show at his own gallery, Superclub,
which he runs with friends. The freezing temperatures didn't keep
people away, it was a busy night and everyone who came was blown away
by the work and how it was exhibited.
