KONSTFACK // JOAKIM OJANEN

While we were in Stockholm we were lucky enough to visit one of the Art Schools, Konstfack.
An artist we know, studies there and tomorrow night Superclub Gallery, in Edinburgh, are
exhibiting his work. We went along to have a look at what he was planning on showing.
While we were there he kindly gave us a little tour of the place. The facilities were
amazing and it looked like everyone was doing really interesting things.

The pieces that Joakim had made for the show were incredible. I am very excited for it.
If you are in Edinburgh tomorrow or over the next month,you should go along and see it.

CHLOE AUTUMN/WINTER 2013

LOUIS VUITTON

I am completely compelled by the whole idea behind the latest Louis Vuitton show.
Marc Jacobs explored the world of a ladies boudoir for his inspiration this season.
The set was a hotel corridor with lots of oak stained doors where the models
emerged from. They were all scantily clad and looking incredibly glamorous yet
somewhat bored. The whole idea being 'why going out when you can stay in'? and also
exploring the idea of alluring, rich women who are all dressed up with nowhere to go.

This show is incredibly decadent and seductive.

JACQUEMUS // AUTUMN // WINTER //2013

Self taught French designer Simon Porte Jaquemus showed his latest collection at a
public swimming pool in Paris. The range was inspired by French actress Isabelle Adjani
and the video to her song 'Pull Marine'. I hadn't heard of Jaquemus until today but I will
now follow his designs as I really love this unusual show and the pieces themselves.
